Like he said, not the best way to do something like that Ran into John Clayton at Cleveland Int'l Airport like 15 years ago. Recognized him immediately as he was hauling his bass on a wheel-like thing. I told him I know who you are, John Clayton, right!? Peter Friedman Posted May 26, 2022 Report Share Posted May 26, 2022 I see and hear John Clayton every summer. He leads the house band at the Vail, CO Jazz Party. He also is the director of the student jazz workshop at Vail. John is a warm and friendly guy, as well as being a fine bass player and composer / arranger.
