It's been freakishly awful in Berkeley for weeks, but we're finally getting some sun. I still miss Southern California, though (if not the SF Valley music scene, mind you).

At 9 am, it is a very cool and pleasant day here in Rowlett, Texas, but if the last two days are any indication, it will probably turn out to be a scorcher this afternoon.

Been gloomy and rainy for at least 2 weeks. Looks like it will last for another 4 days. You'd think we were in Seattle.

rain for the 5th straight day, with the forecast saying it will keep raining until Thursday-makes it difficult for me as I walk to work!

In the last two days, we've gotten 14 INCHES of rain here! 14 INCHES!!

And yes, my basement leaks. Woke up this morning to >3 inches of water. It almost got my oil burner.

It's so bad, my wife and I are considering moving... to another house in town with a dry basement. :)

Gloomy. Cloudy and drizzling for the last two weeks. Cooler than average, still need a coat at night.

Very odd weather I must say.

some shots from around the area look pretty devastating...

and Rolf ... stock up on some soft shells cause the shellfish beds are all closing down. the Merrimack River up in flooded Haverhill is getting 35 million gallons of sewage a day! :bad:

at least Peabody's BungHole Liquors is still in business!
