Going to be a great game, Paul. That's for sure. I'm pulling for NE.

I really hope the Pats beat up Indy since the Titans are playing them next week for what will probably mean a first round bye in the playoffs.

I see the Titans definitely defeating the Colts next Sunday. It is important for New England to beat them as well as it has great implications for playoff seedings. If Indy wins, New England will not get the first round bye in the playoffs. All these games coming up in the next few weeks are important to every team who are playoff bound.

Man, I'm getting excited about today's game. Gotta listen to it on the radio as Ohio loves their Browns; and they show Cincy or Pittsburgh in the 1:00 game if the Brownies are playing at 4:00. Can we pull it off? Ewwww, I certainly hope so...

Wheww, what a game! We did pull it out in the end.

Seemed as if we couldn't stop Indy's offense at all, but we were able to do so at the end.

New England is quite possibly the best team in the NFL right now. What are our weaknesses? Our offensive coordinator Charlie Weiss does not know how to call run plays. He will often start plays off with an empty backfield. No play in football pisses me off more than that one. Keep a running back in a non-shotgun formation if only to maintain the threat of running. It makes me sick!

The other weakness is our punter. He downright sucks. Towards the end of the game with the Pats at their own 12, he kicked a solid 20 yarder. This is typical crap from him. I think we could find a better kicker with one leg and a prosthetic device. One day, we will lose a game as a result of Ken Walters and our coordinator, Charlie Weiss. But right now, we are probably the team to beat in the NFL (along with KC.)

Feeling real good right now a day after the game. I even dreamed about McGinnest's game-saving tackle on Edgerrin James last night: replayed it over in my dreams to show what a sick individual I must be. B)

The Pats are the best team in football right now. We are 6-0 this season against teams with winning records and we've defeated the Titans (9-2), the Colts (9-3), the Eagles (9-3) and the Dolphins (8-4) And of those four games, only one was at home! Cripes! I can't believe how good we are! I don't know if KC has defeated teams with those records. I know they beat the Dolphins, but have they played many teams with winning records? Still, I know they are a very good football team with lots of offensive weapons like Indy has.

Dolphins coming to town; and we've got three of the last four games at home. Lookin' good! (Sorry Evan!)

Important game for you guys tonight, Jim as the Colts are coming in to Tennessee next week. Actually, I think the Titans have to beat the Colts no matter the outcome of tonight's game, owing to tiebreaks and such. Good luck!

Some coaches are in big trouble.

Davis in Cleveland may be one of them, though I think he's a good coach.

Williams in Buffalo is dead meat.

Gruden is probably the most overrated coach of all.

Is Cowher in trouble in Pittsburgh? He's a good coach as well.

San Diego should fire Schottenheimer, who sucks.

Callahan in Oakland is toast.

San Fran coach is in deep trouble as well.

the browns schedule this year is tough.

the cost of making the playoffs last year

the browns qb's sux and really aren't that good.

willie green likes to smoke the chronic.

nothing wrong with dat, except if you play in the nfl

kevin johnson wasn't a team player

the defense ain't that good, lost a ton of players

i still have $25 on who will win more games this year with a friend. the cards or the browns.

Why don't the people who talk football here go to a "real" football board and take that over and start talking about jazz there? :P

Hey! Welcome Johnny!

Disappointing loss last night. After that Samari Rolle interception was overturned, it seemed like the Titans couldn't get any momentum. Perhaps they were looking ahead to this weekend vs. Indy. Pennington did a fine job for the Jets.

Poop.

Tennessee looked quite ordinary last night. My guess is that they definitely overlooked the Jets, who are still a tough team.

New England is starting to separate themselves a little from the rest of the pack, I think. Belichek never allows the team to overlook games. Don't know how he does it.

Come on, Evan...bring it on!!! :g:bwallace:

For what it's worth: my prediction is that New England will win 3 out of their next 4. I think they'll defeat the Dolphins at home in a close contest, then beat Jacksonville, then LOSE to the Jets in the following game. They will then maul the Bills at home in the final game of the season. Final record: 13-3. K.C. will have to lose at least two games if the Pats are to guarantee homefield advantage.

I checked K.C.'s wins this year. The best team the defeated was the Dolphins with 8 wins. Easy schedule!! :tdown

Latest update on the upcoming Dolphins-Patriots Sunday matchup:

Miami tightend Randy McMichael has been talking a little trash about the Patriots, claiming that Pat's safety Rodney Harrison is a "dirty player." He also was quoted as saying the Patriots have been winning ugly and have beaten the Dolphins earlier this season only in the last quarter after having been beaten in the other three quarters.

Whaddya think, Evan?

I would say that with the Patriots playing very well right now, it doesn't hurt to get some extra motivation.

This game is going to be a slugfest. The two teams know each other very well.

I believe the Pats will win at home, but the Dolphins are playing very well right now and it won't be easy. We can't rule out an upset.

I give you credit for still supporting your team, SS.

All my friends at the office here in Ohio who are Browns fans tell me they've lost all interest in the football season with the Brown's record being what it is.

BTW, My prediction is that William Green will never play another game in a Brown's uniform.

Read in today's paper that the Pats-Dolphins game will be shown on local TV. I am PLEASED to say the least!! Friday's paper said it was only going to be on the radio. The program director's must have seen the light!!

Here in Toledo we're stuck with Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns games all the time.

It almost makes you wanna take up KNITTING! ;)

It's bad enough I've got to watch the Lions at 1:00 instead of Indianapolis at Tennessee.

We live in a lousy area for football here.
