In the 1940s ROBERT Normann's live was a rather turbulent one. He played as a free lancer in restaurants and clubs on his selfbuild elctric guitar in his own unique style. Great band leaders of that period, like Svend Asmussen, tried to get him into their bands, but ROBERT didn't want to leave Norway: he loved fishing.

Never heard of this guy before, but that video on Youtube.... Holy shit! This guy is awesome!! Thanks so much for sharing. I will definitely be on the lookout for more Robert Normann!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
