	Thank you, today and always, to all jazz musicians.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you to everyone who keeps the music playing.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you for making us so happy.

<p>
	Thank you for being one of my last bastions,

<p>
	in this disgusting and crude world.

<p>
	Thank you for being a beacon in the darkest hours.

<p>
	Thank you for seeking beauty.

	Thank you, today and always.

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:medium;text-align:left;">
	<font style="vertical-align:inherit;"><font style="vertical-align:inherit;">Miquel Asensio, drums</font></font>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:medium;text-align:left;">
	<font style="vertical-align:inherit;"><font style="vertical-align:inherit;">Valencia is a land of musicians. And yesterday at Jimmy's, two of the most charismatic musicians—not just in the UK, but in the world—came together. Although it all started in Africa, it developed in the USA and from there it was better marketed worldwide. Here, if we knew how to promote it half as well as they did, these two would be world jazz stars.</font></font>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:medium;text-align:left;">
	<font style="vertical-align:inherit;"><font style="vertical-align:inherit;"> I'm talking about baritone saxophonist, composer, producer and educator Francisco "Latino" Blanco and trumpeter and composer David Pastor.</font></font>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:medium;text-align:left;">
	<font style="vertical-align:inherit;"><font style="vertical-align:inherit;"> Last night at that jazz mecca called Jimmy Glass, they offered us a concert of good old-fashioned jazz, which delighted everyone present.</font></font>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:medium;text-align:left;">
	<font style="vertical-align:inherit;"><font style="vertical-align:inherit;"> Accompanied by a rhythm section of two musicians also from the area, namely the double bassist Miquel Álvarez and the drummer Miquel Asensio, we were able to witness a tribute to the cool jazz of the east coast, with hints of bop and all the talent of the aforementioned musicians.</font></font>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:medium;text-align:left;">
	<font style="vertical-align:inherit;"><font style="vertical-align:inherit;"> Themes mainly by Gerry Mulligan, the great reference of Latino where the constant dialogue saxophone - trumpet, each in its moment and perfectly balanced, elevated the music of this genius even more.</font></font>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:medium;text-align:left;">
	<font style="vertical-align:inherit;"><font style="vertical-align:inherit;"> Needless to say, the rhythm section shone brilliantly, with Álvarez's precision on the double bass and his pleasant scats, as well as the precision and forcefulness, beautiful and well-measured drumming of Asensio.</font></font>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:medium;text-align:left;">
	<font style="vertical-align:inherit;"><font style="vertical-align:inherit;"> A great night of jazz, which left a very good taste in the mouths of all those present on this night before Palm Sunday, the beginning of a Holy week.</font></font>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:medium;text-align:left;">
	<font style="vertical-align:inherit;"><font style="vertical-align:inherit;">Seek beauty and enjoy Easter...</font></font>
</p>
