The armadillo costume never goes out of style. Keith Emerson, rest in peace. - Today

It was a great gig at The Hexagon, Birmingham when you played tracks from the album. I'll be ordering at some stage to listen again. Andy

I'm picky enough to want the normally-aspirated 283 V8 with a PowerGlide 2-speed automatic. The fuel-injection system was a PITA to maintain and keep working just right as it was mechanically actuated and needed constant adjustment.

Haven't played this version in quite some time. . .not the best but the music is so timelessly incredible. Jimi Hendrix "Electric Ladyland" 50th Anniversary box set edition, disc 1, the album proper.

The mid 1970s were good years for the Virgin label. -
A beauty. I'm not picky--I'll take any color!

I'm with you there... this is the color combo I'd love to own/drive:

For me a real Corvette would be any of the first up through '65 or so. . . I'd love a '62.

This is a fascinating box set, the marvelous Blossom Dearie in varied settings. I’m listening to disc 5, the first of two discs of previously unreleased Fontana recordings. Blossom Dearie “Discover Who I Am • The Fontana Years • London 1966–1970” 6 cd box set Disc 5: Feeling Good Being Me (Pt. 1) The Lost And Found London Sessions

@sonnymax showed me the trick to get these off many years ago. You lift off the cover from the edge opposite the sticker by gently lifting up the piece of case that comprises the lower hinge pin. You lift the cover up and the plastic can be easily peeled off. Once done, carefully re-attach the cover. -
I'm not much of a fan of the C3 Corvettes, especially the 1975-77 models, which was a bit of a dog due to the first generation emission controls that bogged it down.

A deliciously cool morning–57 degrees! I spun this again to listen to the bonus material, which sounds great on this issue. Duke Ellington “. . .And His Mother Called Him Bill” Sony Legacy cd Now on to Wow! Disc 2 Jethro Tull “Still Living in the Past” box set

I love Chet, and my wife loves Chet too. We have a love song by Chet! Listening to now: Love this record, but the real spoiler is the one for her: Thank you Chet!

Thanks for these posts, super useful... I just started my Tjader collection with "Last night when we were young" on Fantasy and might want to add more...

Danilio, are you aware of the massive 5 Volume series published (last year IIRC) in Italian only by Antonio Lanza (italian academic & jazz fan) called "Californian Jazz, 1951-1960" (Italian Publishers only) I convinced an Italian Veterinary colleague here in Brisbane (Australia) to attempt a translation (she was keen to try & completed volume 1) & has had Amazon publish the first volume (english version) - she brought me back the entire (Italian) set on a recent holiday to her home country earlier this year https://www.amazon.com.au/Californian-Jazz-1951-1960-Antonio-Lanza/dp/B0DF2MDYTS/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0 -
And I rarely if ever replace U.S. BN's with Japanese BN's of the same title, but did replace McMasters, Conns, and older Japanese imports with U.S. RVG's eventually in all cases.

Lousy song, cheesy vocal, but a good track, especially the guitar solo,
