  4. I am preparing a program on self-accompanying jazz artists and am not sure if this is the precise forum to post this question. Of course, there are jazz pianists who also sang, notably Nat King Cole. Of course, there is Nina Simone and Diana Krall. There are Slim and Slam. I am not looking for blues, rock, or folk artists. There are tons and tons of them who accompany themselves. I would appreciate other artists who sing and who also play an instrument. Many thanks
  5. Hi everybody. Looks like it's time to give the distribution arm a rest. In particular, there is pressing need to devote more time & resources to the Rev. Charlie Jackson retrospective, as well as other initiatives. So here's a sale, during which there is free U.S. shipping on ALL orders that include the 2nd Rev. Charlie Jackson live LP, Lord You're So Good. For international shipments, that offer is good for $5 off. The sale ends Friday, May 24. Sorry, no long holds. Allowances are gladly made for those of you who reliably pay via check. Go to 50 Miles of Elbow Room sale titles here. (Friend's Distro)
