ghost of miles Posted February 12, 2007 Report Share Posted February 12, 2007 I've been revisiting the Woody Herman 1945-47 Columbia box... lots of musical gems here that I'd never heard before (before this set came out, all I had of the Columbia material was the 2-CD BLOWIN' UP A STORM compilation, which is worth checking out for the Ralph Burns liner notes in addition to the "Best of" sides gathered within).
