is burning off emusic.com legal?

I had an emusic subscription and downloaded and burned maybe 25 or 30 albums. Do I have legal copies of the albums or would it suit me to buy the actual discs in time? These are the only burns in my collection outside of me making individual burns of albums in boxsets for convenience purposes.

Perfectly legal.

eMusic is the only service that offers the usage flexibility that avid music fans demand -- unlimited CD burning along with the ability to transfer music to any desktop, portable music player and digital device (including the market leading iPod)

Q: Do musicians and labels get paid for the songs I download?

A: Yes. eMusic is a legal downloadable music service that compensates artists and labels for their work, without sacrificing convenience or low-cost.
