This afternoon it as Torelli's Concerti op.6 - this is the true typical high baroque stuff, Torelli, Corelli, Alessando Scarlatti, Fux, Georg Muffat - more than the next generation of Bach, Händel and others who already incorporated many elements of the galant style. The CD title is a bit of hype, of course, referring to the dedication of the collection to Sophia Charlotte of Brandenburg-
