The accompanying CD of this book:

Utah Smith and his variants on the Two Wings theme are standouts on the JSP set The Guitar Evangelists. I am intrigued that such a thing as this book and cd exist.Ā Ā

Very exiting all three volumes "On Stage" at the BIM house in Amsterdam from 1975.Ā

This here has a quite exiting version of "Old Devil Moon" though on the start it sounds like if Cliff just had to "learn" the tune, but he really stretches out on solo.Ā

Cedar Waltons trio feature "The Maestro" is a beauty. Very fine descending chords on the theme, not unlikely those on Dizzy“s "Con Alma" though it“s completly different.

"The Highest Mountain" also very strong.Ā

Never heard if it. Sure looks interesting.

It's a Don Schlitten joint. Not the best thing ever, but certainly listenable enough, and for more than one spin, too.

For the Groove/Teddy record, let me cut to the chase and give a link to "Pennies From Heaven", the last - and by far best (imo) cut of the album:

They save the best for last. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Disc 2: This is a set that I hadn't spent much time with until last year when I picked up the Pres Verve box and the old Basie Decca box (finally!).Ā  It us becoming one of my favorite Mosaics.Ā  'I Left My Baby' is desert-island material.Ā Ā

It was always a highlight of gigs by Eastern Rebellion and Cedar’s trio when they played ā€˜The Maestro’. Bob Berg was pretty adept on the changes to that tune.
