And? Do you still feel that way?

Working on it. The logic is working it's way.

I read where Craft used all "Hollywood" musicians for these recordings. In some way that I:m probably just imagining, there seems to be a flow to the compositions that is largely not what I've experienced elsewhere.

I think I can easy do a disc a day with this one, it's certainly inviting in that way, put it on and keep it on.

I was listening to a new DJ Spinna radio show of "London Jazz-funk"

Some of the tracks:

London Town - Light of the World
Escapee - Daniel Casimir
Rude Movements - Sun Palace
Movin' On - Outside
Sphynx - Brand New Heavies
Walk in the Night - Paul Hardcastle
You Gotta Get It - Congress
Night Birds - Shakatak
summer grooves - Mirage
Mr moon - Jamiroquai
Parisienne Girl - Incognito
Can't Keep Holding On - Second Image

Some of those take me right back. Loved Light of the World at the time

Just finished work, poured myself a drink, and now I'm listening to this:

Marc Cary - Focus (Motéma, 2006)
with David Ewell (b) and Sumeer Gupta (d)

I really like this record.

Miles Davis "Porgy and Bess" Columbia LP

Listening to my Dad's copy of this.
I lost him on Monday evening and wanted to hear this, which we listened to together many times.

He gave this to me when he went all cd, and I have better sounding digital copies but this still sounds pretty darned good.
