Do you have the Classic Capitol Sessions box? That’s one I keep meaning to return to. The Capitol Sessions is essential! Those single label collections tend to pay a healthy dividend over time. I started out digging the Ellington-related, Bobby Hackett, Mel Powell, Jess Stacy, and Joe Sullivan sessions, but over time really appreciated Eddie Miller and the rest of the Wingy Manone-Bob Crosby related entries.
