clifford_thornton Posted March 20 Report Share Posted March 20 Jenkins/Ali (expanded), Ali Quartet w/ Pullen & Carlos Ward, Watts-Ali duo... for every release that actually came out at the time, it seems like there are others that didn't materialize, though tapes apparently exist for quite a bit of it. felser Posted March 20 Report Share Posted March 20 I have always really liked this one with Ward, Fred Simmons, and Stafford James. Got it from Third Street Music back in the 70's, then later on CD. The last two records where I was pleasantly surprised by his company were Marion Browns Why Not and Jackie McLeans ‘Bout Soul.
