Well, I've been posting my radio playlists for seven-plus years, and this is a New Year, so I might as well start a new thread.
"Straight, No Chaser" originates every Monday evening from 9:00 to 11:00 at 91.3 KBCS-FM in Bellevue, Washington. But each program is also stored in the station's audio archive, at www.kbcs.fm, where you can hear a streaming version of the last two weeks' programs whenever you like.
This Monday, to celebrate the New Year, we listened to John Coltrane's "My Favorite Things" on "Straight, No Chaser" on KBCS. We also heard several selections featuring the great avant garde drummer Sunny Murray, who died last month.
