Had this been true, would we have all gone crazy and tried to buy them before the next guy? I was set to buy all 10. I called this morning at 9 AM once Mosaic was opened.

It strange, this group helped along with Horace Silver make Blue Note some good Cash. If you look at all the times they were in the recording studio, it makes you wonder why Blue Note today doesn't have more of their sessions available. I'll just keep hunting on ebay.

I called Mosaic, but the woman I spook with wasn't sure what I was talking about. She said she wasn't informed. So I guess this was a hoax. Someone else should give it a shot and see what they hear.

Is this some sick joke? I will call tomorrow and risk making a fool of myself to see if this is true. If it is, I'll buy all 10 and then sell 9 of them on Ebay and make a good killing.

I really enjoy this group, and I am somewhat puzzled why there isn't more of their recording in print. Does anyone know if there is plans to doa Mosaic set of the 3 Sounds? Going through the BN discography and see there is still a number of sessions that are listed as unissued. What's the chance these could see the light of day?

They are not in the complete quartet sessions with Sonny Rollins. It is 2 tracks where they added 2 latin players. Yes they are on the Latin Bit CD. I just checked. Thanks.

I am trying to find the only 2 tracks with Grant Green that I don't have. They only appeared on the Mosaic Grant Green Sonny Clark set. Would someone that has this Mosaic be willing to make a copy of these 2 tracks? I know and own the Blue Note Discography, but is there any for other lables as In-Dept as the Blue Note discography? Prestige, Verve, Savoy Riverside just to name a few.

In 1965 or 66 Grant Green left Blue Note and signed with Verve and did his one album with them. I was speaking recently with someone who read that in that same year Grant and Wes teamed up and did an album together. I have been searching high and low to see if there is any truth to this, but I have not found anything. Does anyone here know anything about this? Of course this session never made it past the valuts. I do believe my friend's story. He knows just about everything about these 2 guitarists.
