The Arts at Noon Series presents the jazz group Organissimo on December 1. The group performs at noon in Cook-DeWitt Center, Allendale. Founders Jim Alfredson and Joe Gloss originally met in the jazz combo program at Michigan State University during the fall of 1996. With the addition of drummer Randy Marsh, Organissimo, came into being, dedicating itself to original music and expanding the tradition of the organ trio. Their music is quirky, funky, swinging, and fresh, extending from the organ groups of the '50s and '60s into the new millennium. Admission is FREE!
