"Step Across the Border"

My film group, Filmforum, screened this film a few years ago. The CD soundtrack has been available for a while, but might now be out of print. The film is really wonderful - one of my favorites, following Frith as he makes music in all sorts of situations, with various other artists around the world. For me, a magical journey of the creative process.

In an odd way, it would be a good pairing with the film "Sound" featuring John Cage and Rahsaan Roland Kirk.

The filmmakers also made another film about nomads called "Middle of the Moment," with music by Frith.
