I see one went for 500 back in December. How in the hell did I miss that?!?!
-
Yes I did. As much as I want the record I would have felt pretty silly paying that much. 1300 is still pretty nutty, but I doubt I will get a bite anyhow.
-
VG or better. will part with $1300.

The original tends to go for big bucks so I will settle for the LP reissue.
I am looking for the Japanese reissue from 1977, this is in Mono and has catalog number SMJ-6567 / PG 6072.
Edit: FOUND

Abut 2 years ago I ordered Mingus at Antibes (Barnes and Noble) and it was a cd-r. I returned it and bought another copy from a different seller and it was fine.
I only buy used DOCUMENT cds and and will ask the seller to identify the cd as a factory pressed cd or cd-r.

Arrived today, thanks Doug!

Sounds great. Toss up between stereo and mono....some tracks sound a little congested in mono but others are great.

I really like the Monk Prestige albums, they usually get overshadowed by the Blue Notes before and Riverside after.
-
Hank Mobley ''Dippin''
Lee Morgan ''Cornbread'
Horace Silver ''Song for my Father''
Dexter Gordon ''Go'' (But I think ''One Step Up'' is underrated)

I have two on the way, the oop Elvin Jones and the Coleman Hawkins. I have heard a lot of the coleman hawkins but am unfamiliar with the Elvin Jones other than a few samples off the internet. Last I looked the Hawk set is now backordered until 2015.
Andrew Hill Solo: Disc 1 - speechless from the beauty.
Is he the only artist with 3 sets? I have two but not the solo set.
-
found a copy, in great shape! on ebay. it was not listed as mono in the description but I could tell from the photos it was.
-
Found a copy, thanks all.

I am selling the Elvin Jones Mosaic Box. All cd's are in mint condition. US$175 plus shipping. I'm located in Toronto.

To anyone interested I'm very open to your best fair offer as long as it doesn't involve a trade that includes a yak or a skateboard with no wheels.
would you consider including shipping? If so I'll grab it.
