Thanks so much for the laugh and the help. Hope it works. This is very meaningful for us. I'm going to pick my brother's brain and see what else he can remember, if anything, about the book. My brother just saw a book with a picture of our father with his arms around the shoulders of our mother on one side and Billie Holiday on his other side. Mother and father are named in the book..Herbert and Nathalie Adams. He says it is a large blue book with gold lettering and is a pictorial history of the swing era and he say the words of her song "and now they call it swing" were somewhere. We are desperately trying to find the book as we only have one picture of our father. He died when I was small and later a fire took everything. My brother remembers Billie coming in and out of our house like she lived there and she is still his favorite singer. We have no idea about a publishing date. Any information about this book that might help us find a copy would be greatly apprecciated. Anything at all???? Thanks so much....Sunao
