  2. keith 718 and bedkiss

Who the hell are these people?

I Advised You To To Let Sleeping Dogs Lie. However, Don't You Remember? They Are Contemporaries Who Experienced You As I Did. They Wrote About You Publicly At That Time:

"said payment was on the way but it never was"

    keith 718 - 6/14/01, 07:35

"7 Weeks Later Still No Payment!!!!!!!!!!! F-"

    bedkiss - 1/6/02, 12:50

And yes, I agree to stay in my corner. I wrote you off as a deadbeat 2 years ago but you have prolonged the matter for the last 2 years by continually sending me those plaintive and whining PMs (1/10/03, 11/11/03 [masquerading as bandito], 2/11/04, 6/28/04, 8/30/04) even though I had told you politely on 1/10/03 to never write me again. I have absolutely no interest in being your friend so STOP THOSE RIDICULOUS PMs and you'll never hear from me again.

Now I've got Miles 'Circle In The Round' (Long Version) in the portable CD player and I'm going for a walk along the seaside.

  3. and BTW whatever happend to the "Adieu" thread?

I posted a reminder to undergroundagent about 2 quite unsavoury moments from his commercial past. He flew into a rage and promptly deleted the thread.

    Ken,

You know this isn't at all true.

Allan, believe me, you do not want to pursue this matter on this Board. I still have all your original PMs from the BNBB and this Board including additional info re: keith 718 and bedkiss who also had the same issue with you. There is also Canada Post's comment on your "address unknown" letters. We could also go into the undergroundagent/bandito IP address.

Sooo, should I get into all of this? It's your call. Think very carefully if you want to open this can of worms for yourself.

You apologized and I don't believe a word you say and let's just leave it at that.

  4. JAW,

One of Childers 1950s Liberty sessions was going to be released as a TOCJ about 2 years ago but it was cancelled. I wrote Toshiba-EMI to inquire about the cancellation and they only replied that it would not be issued at that time.

  5. Back in the late 1980s Albert Marx was selling off all his Trend/Discovery CDs for $7 and I purchased a fair chunk of them. Sometime after that I believe that he passed away but I may be wrong. Sometime in the early !990s I tried to contact him and the label but there was no longer a phone number or address. He used to be in Los Angeles.

Does anyone know what happened to the Trend/Discovery catalog? Who owns it now?

  6. Does someone recall the name of that West Coast trumpeter who recorded from the 60s through the 80s? The last recording that I remember was the big band date he headed on Albert Marx's old Trend/Discovery label around 1984. His first name was Buddy. Thanks for any help.

  7. but the Bethlehems I believe are all reissued once again

But this time they are upgraded to 24 Bit and come in the Mini-LP format. The Mini-LP format which attempts to replicate the oriiginal LP is extremely popular in Japan.

When I have offered the same JRVG Vs TOCJ title simultaneously I get around 3 to 1 requests for the JRVG Vs TOCJ. My experience demonstrates that is also the case of Digital K2 Vs 20 Bit K2.

The Sal Salvador title is excellent and hopefully they reissue the other 2 Salvador Bethlehem titles that were previously released.

  8. I finally got a chance to hear "Enroute" this weekend. This is the John Scofield of old. It reminds me of his Enja days, specifically John Scofield Trio's "Live '81" (Enja 1005).

I also took the opportunity to listen again to his first recording as a leader, John Scofield's self-titled "John Scofield"(MTCJ 2536). There is a lot of growth between "John Scofield" and "Enroute" but the basic Scofield sound was there in 1977.

  9. Although I could do nothing about it. To the 9 people who sent Org Board originated emails to me regarding JRVGs that I had posted earlier this week, they just arrived today 'en masse'. Needless to say all of the items are gone and I did not ignore your emails. As stated, I never received these emails till today (July 2) although all were sent June 28/29. As well, I receiced 34 email notifications of a PM today from June 28/29. I have written all of you individually with a solution for my future offerings.

  10. I am reading this right (hopefully?) - do you have the Bar Talk CD available for sale?

    Yours eagerly,

    Erik

I do have an available copy of Bar Talk but I haven't spoken to the person indicated since last February so I don't know if they are still interested but hopefully they see this posting. I will give them 10 days to reply. As you probably know this is the rarest John Scofield CD. It was only available briefly in 1990 in Japan and hence its cost reflects it extreme scarcity. (BMG B19D-47033)

  11. I have received many emails/PMs wondering what happened to me. I would like to say that I have been on a tropical vacation paid for by the CDs that I sold on the Offering and Looking For Forum but that would be a real stretch. Actually, my computer crashed in early March and with one thing and another I finally got around to buying a new computer last week. I cannot reply to all of the emails/PMs that I received so this posting will have to suffice. However, on a couple of specific notes:

    P.M. - I have the Three Sounds/Feelin' Good

J.K. - I have the John Scofield/Bar Talk (BIG BUCKS!!!)

Sue - I have the Dizzy Reece Mosaic Select.

    Robert - I have the TOCJ24 Promos.

R.D. - I misplaced those OBIs again. They may be at my other address. Sorry.

Tom - I have the Miles Davis Mini-LPs.

M.L. - I have all the JRVGs that we discussed last February.

Those noted above will have to email me since I lost many email addresses in the crash.

Again, thanks to those who showed concern and wrote and I am fine. I did learn that THERE IS a life without a computer, email, and the internet. But it does feel good to be wired in again.
