I've been on this King Pleasure obsession for the past year, largely because the mystery that surrounds him, anyways, I found this little mention of him on Downbeat for august 27, 1952 that mentions he was on a television program called the Ralph Cooper Program with Blossom Dearie. I would love to see it, but I doubt its possible. Also, I've always wanted to see photos of him performing on stage, there is one of him on his stage throne from 1954 and one from a 1972 reissue King Pleasure - The Source, but the image was altered. It would be nice to see the original. Thanks, if you can find it.

Juanita did her own album called Juanita! with Gerald Wiggins in 1961, but I haven't been able to find any recordings of it unfortunately.

Singer for the 1960 recording of Moody's Mood for Love on King Pleasure's Golden Days is Juanita Witherspoon. Now we just have to solve whoever sang with him on D.B Blues.
