JohnS Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 (edited) No long free pieces in this concert, a mix of standards plus a couple of bop numbers and three or four slow ballads I didn't recognise. Everything played was relatively short. Every Keith Jarrett Trio concert is going to worthwhile and while there were some exceptional touches which grabbed the ears,overall I didn't feel that the trio were on top form, but then they have been going successfuly for twenty years The audience loved it all.
