pasta Posted July 2, 2005 Report Posted July 2, 2005 Just got "Many Shades of Blue" by Blue Mitchell, and it's really a great soul-jazz slice of funk! As a matter of fact, I have about 35 or so Mainstream LP's from about 71-75 I guess, and there isn't a bad one in the lot. Dave Hubbard's self-titled LP comes to mind right away, as does, let's see, the Reggie Moore stuff, Charles McPherson, John White...............Anyone out there dig this stuff? Quote
