David Ayers Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Having spent a few days in the company of the Rivers Mosaic, I began to wonder whether there was any chance of the remaining sessions coming out as a Conn. We now (finally) see Where is Brooklyn? completing the Don Cherry trilogy. But would it work for Sam? My guess is that the individual albums (A New Conception and Dimensions + Extensions) are a tad short and perhaps not 100% convincing (though good and interesting). However I did my sums and found that both sessions together came to 79m 22s. So can we expect a joint reissue along the lines of the Sonic Boom Conn? I think it would be a great way to give all the Sam Rivers BN output a continuing lease of life. Quote
JohnS Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Nice idea David, I'll have one in the unlikely event of it happenning. Quote
