Guest Mnytime Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 (edited) TCM is showing 4 of Chaplin's films tonight. These will be the restored versions that have been recently released on DVD. I believe Modern Times had footage added onto the DVD. Not sure if that will be shown tonight. It all starts at the usual time 8pm EST, 5PM PST: The films that will be shown are: Modern Times Limelight The Gold Rush-not sure if they are showing the original version or the version from 1941 that Chaplin added a new music score. As well as narration from Chaplin himself. Both are in the DVD The Great Dictator There will be a Documentary shown before each film. 3 of the Documentaries are getting their premiere on TCM. Guest Mnytime Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 (edited) Up I am curious who do people prefer between Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton? While I love both I am more of a Buster Keaton fan. Edited July 8, 2003 by Mnytime Quote
