for those Europeans who do not know how to spend their hard earned money on Jazz records here some more place to shop:

JazzShop24 is the Jazz online shop of ZYX records selling most of the US Fantasy catalog (as well as the in-famous 20/24 ZYX remaster that you normally should try to avoid)

They currently do sell right now as part of a Stock clearance all Fantasy SA-CD for 12,60€ and all normal OJC's for 5,85€ (catalogue number starting with OJCCD_) which does not look to bad

The normal priced PRCD_/FCD_ are at 9,45€

Payments by Credit Card or upfront Bank transfer. S&H within Germany is 3€ flat (as regular customer I do not get charged). For orders outside germany, I have not seen any indications about S&H so you might need to ask them.

The website is in german only but you can contact them via Phone or email either. You can order by mail or fax too.

I went through the ordering process with 4 discs. At checkout, shipping to Europe was indicated at 8€, worldwide 10€. I don't know if the rate is flat.

BTW, avoid the "20-Bit-Remastered-CDs" and get the original release. There are too many bad remasters among the 20Bit discs

BTW: they sell even some CD's not listed but which are in the orginal Fantasy catalog but you need to contact them via email and they will look them up. They charge for those (at least to what I've payed until now) a premium of 1€ to the normal OJC price of 6,50€ which is still cheaper than importing them from US.

@Claude: yes, to my understanding, they charge flat S&H.

where I have no clue what they are about. Amazon.de lists them as mid October releases. Are those K2 remasters or those ZYX ones ?

I already have the Rollins box, bought it at Zweitausendeins when they still had ZYX box sets.

I guess the Chet CDs are ZYX remasters, as this box is a collection produced by ZYX. Fantasy does not have it in their catalog.

They don't seem to answer emails or perhaps they are really busy...

I sent them email several days ago.I asked them if they can accept EU transactions ( I don't have a credit card).

I had made an error in my order (chose a 20Bit version instead of regular OJC) and immediately sent an email to correct it. I did not receive an answer. Only after sending a reminder 3 days later did the shop owner Frank Theis reply, saying the change was made and the order was ready to be sent.

Maybe he is very busy because of this sale. Try sending another email.

On IBAN/BIC:

Many germans are still unfamiliar with the IBAN/BIC system and only know their national numbers.

Thanks man. I did sent him another email. I copy & pasted your message with converted BIC+IBAN -codes. Hopefully he will reply soon before all those cheap cds are sold out.

If their shipping cost is a flat fee (8 €) in Europe, I'd get a nice bunch of those OJC cds for 50€.
