BERIGAN Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 (edited) If there is a store in a mall near you, you might find some interesting cds for $3.99($3.59 with their expensive discount card) The usually put them in a red cardboard dump near the front of the store. Found a few Black Lion cds, Buddy Tate-Jumping on the West Coast. Walter Bishop-Milestones. Howard McGhee-Sharp Edge. Not a whole lot of jazz, but a little of everything. They seem to have bought a fair bit of International Sony, EMI cds. Tony Bennett Best of 2 cd set, A Stevie Wonder 2 cd best of(already sold it, forget what label) Michael Feinstein Anthology, Lou Reed 2 cd set, all for $4! Also, some Sequel/Westside obsurities. Dave "baby" Cortz, Best of Flip records, etc...Oh, and for some reason, 2 stores had the Gene Krupa/Harry James Box sets for $79!(Grabbed both, one to keep, one to sell much later on!) I never see retailers put the cool bargain stuff on the web, which is too bad, I guess since it all ends up with generic bar codes, and sells cheap, not worth the effort. so check 'em out!
