John B Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 I'm looking for two Derek Bailey discs and one Bailey-related disc that seem to be out of print. If anyone knows of a site where I can find reasonably priced copies of these, or has a used copy they would be willing to part with, I would appreciate it. Aida Drop Me Off at 96th Spontaneous Music Ensemble - Karyobin thanks! Quote
Nate Dorward Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 (edited) Good luck! If you have no success (they are much sought-after) then I can provide a CDR burn of all but Aida (I have the latter but only on LP & no setup for LP-to-CD transfer). John B Posted December 31, 2005 Author Report Posted December 31, 2005 Thanks to Nate and to the two PMs I received. I seem to have found a copy of Aida, but I'm not holding my breath that the seller will actually deliver. Quote

blake Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 Wasn't Aida just reissued on CD about a year (or less) ago? If so, I guess they went quick. Quote
Guest Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 hello there, as it happens, i have a few (new) copies of Drop Me Off at 96th Street. they have been in a box for a number of years (i used to work for the label's distributor). i have sold one or two on eBay over the years (where they have gone for over £50 in the past). however, i am not keen on exploiting the death of mr bailey for eBay profit and would rather let them go for a more modest price. i will happily accept £20 plus shipping (from EU). please PM me if interested. Aida is in print and readily available at the moment. i can provide a free CD-R copy of Karyobin for anyone purchasing 96th Street. all the best, millicent Quote

I thought so, but every U.S. source I have tried has been unable to get a copy of Aida to sell to me. Hopefully it, along with the other oop discs, is brought back in print soon. Quote
