Jazz Showcase come to the end.....

This weekend marks the end of Joe Segal's Jazz Showcase ....at least at the current location. The last shows are on New Year's eve, featuring Henry Johnson's Organ Express (w/Chris Foreman on the b3 and Greg Rockingham on drums) and Fathead Newman (new years eve only). I plan to attend both shows as this has been my home away from home for several years and I can't miss it.

I know Joe and Wayne are searching for a new location but as I spoke with Joe a week or so ago....nothing in place at this time. I know of at least one benefit show to be held at the Auditorium on 3/1 with many big names. It's pretty pricey to move into a new place and revamp it prior to opening so I'm sure there may be a few benefits along the way!
