got a copy of Kerry Dancers with blue label like the deep groove type but with recessed area bout size of half dollar instead of deep groove. Is this a latter pressing than deep groove type? sounds as good as my deep groove Riversides.

Many non DG Riverside have that. Kerry Dancers exists on both editions DG and no DG. DG and no DG maybe original for Kerry Dancers. Regarding Riverside sound, its always very hard to tell what will sound good and what will not before actually playing the record. There is another thread where we are talking about DG/no DG Riversides.

deep groove exists for this one. label on mine is different than the usual non deep groove ones. According to Popsike.com it has brought same money as deep groove versions so maybe it was released same time as deep groove versions.

Yes this one exist on Deep Groove : my copy is Deep groove. Many from around # 380 (if i remember well ?) Riverside were originally relased no DG and DG at the same time. The recessed area is sometimes seen on the no DG.
