Dave James Posted September 5, 2003 Report Posted September 5, 2003 OK, let's say for the sake of this discussion, that you wake up one morning, completely lose control of your priorities and decide to put your entire collection on the block. CD's, LP's whatever. Out of all the recordings you've accumulated over the years - excluding Mosaics - what single item do you think would be most prized by another collector? I'm not talking about how much something is worth, although there's certainly a correlation between desirability and price. I'm more focused on the intrinsic value of your MVP. From my collection, I'd have to go with James Newton's Romance and Revolution. Up over and out. Quote
Templejazz Posted September 5, 2003 Report Posted September 5, 2003 (edited) This is a toughie cuz I don't have much that's ultra-super tough to find. Due to the announcement of next year's RVG releases I'd say former 'MVP' is 'Ready for Freddie'. Currently I would say my JRVG of 'Demon's Dance' or my copy of 'Here Comes Louis Smith' would be greedily eyed by collectors. Edited September 5, 2003 by Templejazz Quote
