I'll spin some of the Mosaic small group session tonight. I'm not a big fan of pre-bop jazz, but something about Johnny Hodges just does it for me!

Johnny Hodges was one of the most distinctive voices in jazz, he had a beautiful tone and was a great improviser especially on blues and ballads. Some of my favourites:
