For example: Chick Corea's Mad Hatter was inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Someday My Prince will Come is taken from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. (Having written this, I've recalled that Louis Jordan recorded this one before Dizzy and that a traditional blues lyric about being "on my way to school" pre-dates both.) Debra Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 The lyrics of Jefferson Airplane's "Ballad of You and Me and Pooneil" are close to A.A. Milne's poem, "Spring Morning". Mr. Milne is the author of the Winnie the Pooh stories. Quote
