Amel's 2007 release Lovely Standards reached the top three of Billboard's Jazz Charts. The soulful chanteuse always delivers with her warm, unique vocal style.

2008 is shaping up as a breakout year for Detroit's own Dwele. His 2007 collaboration with Common on the Kanye West produced "The People" ignited Common's Finding Forever album, and as a result, the LP debuted at 1 on Billboard's Top 100 albums. He is also featured on West's latest project, Graduation. Dwele's eagerly anticipated, as yet untitled third album is scheduled for a March release, and this Music Hall performance will feature the live debut of his new material.

Detroiter Monica Blaire will provide a high energy opening for this tremendous soul show. Presented in part by McDonald's McCafe Mocha Soul and KISS-FM 105.9.
