Bill Barton directed me to this forum from Jazzcorner.com . I recently started doing a weekly all-instrumental show every tuesday from 12-3 am on WRFL here in Lexington, Kentucky. It streams online from www.wrfl.fm

My shows are pretty improvised and equipment problems at the station forced me to really change up the ideas I had for this last show. It was supposed to be a funky set of Herbie Hancock and Frank Zappa, but I'll now be doing that next week (equipment willing). I'm looking for new music to play on the air, so it can get heard in this town!

In these playlists there are a few dramatic changes in musical genre, but these changes are broken up with grants and other things I have to play,

Guest Bill Barton

Welcome, Don. I think that Rahsaan might have appreciated that transition from his music to the Flying Bulgars...

And anybody who plays Khan Jamal is okay with me!
