Great drummer and nice guy who had played with "Gatortail Jackson", Etta James, Earle Warren's Apollo house band, etc.

About a month ago. I know he was on dialysis so I'm assuming that his kidneys had something to do with it. I just heard the news from a band leader we both worked with.
