monkboughtlunch Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 Does anyone have details of Sam Lazar's sessionography for Argo / Cadet? 3 Lps were issued on Argo: Space Flight (released on CD in Japan, 1998) Playback (released on CD in Japan, 1998) Soul Merchant I believe the Soul Merchant date has not be reissued on CD yet. Does anyone know? It's similar to his Playback recording. In particular, there is a track called "Sam's Jams" with some great soloing. There's also a hip medium/slow tempo blues called "Soul Merchant." Beyond this, I believe there were some additional sessions recorded, but never issued. Does anyone have details about those? Thanks!
