mrjazzman Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 (edited) Lou Donaldson, 82 yrs old, one of the last jazz masters alive at Yoshi's Oakland sat & sun nite 02-28-09 & 03-01-09 Like James Moody, LD is a great bop alto saxophonist and storyteller. Underappreciated master still alive gave a great show sun nite, with hammond b-3 player akiko tsurgua and randy jonston on guitar, great music.
