It's about jazz artists (James Reese Europe, Josephine Baker and Sidney Bechet, among others)who relocated to France in the period between the first and second World Wars. The link provides more information. There is also a group of musicians who perform during the show (including Leon Anderson, drummer and director of Jazz Studies here at Florida State).
