Kyo Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 Please let me tell you about a new charity project by the progressive rock community: The Haiti Projekt brought together 40 bands or solo artists, among them such big names as Neal Morse, Roine Stolt (with his new band Agents of Mercy), Andy Tillison (from The Tangent), Dave Meros (from Spock's Beard) and IZZ. Many have contributed brand new compositions or unique, previously unreleased versions of their songs. For just $20 you can download over four hours of prog music in CD quality or as high-quality mp3s! All of the proceeds from this compilation will be donated to the Red Cross and its Haiti aid efforts. We have already raised over $1500, but I'm sure that is just the beginning! http://www.thehaitiprojekt.com Honestly: I bought the whole package myself and have already bought half a dozen of albums by bands that I didn't really know before who have contributed a song. It's a really nice compilation and it's for a good cause, so you really can't go wrong with this! Quote
