Way back in the early 60s, Elektra released a series of superb blues albums by 'Spider' John Koerner, Dave 'Snaker' Ray and Tony Glover which were some of the earliest blues albums I ever listened to. Although the three compilation 'Blues, Rags & Hollers' albums were released a few years ago by Red House Records, the other albums by Dave Ray & John Koerner on their own have never seen the light of day. However that has now been rectified and they've turned up in the latest batch of releases by Wounded Bird.

I know white blues singers are not to everyone's taste but to my ears these recordings still sound marvellous after almost 50 years. Does anyone else have any love for this music?
