Two of the summers I worked as a signalman. This involved digging post holes, setting poles, attaching cross arms, glass and stringing wire. I've climbed some sixty foot leaners in my day. That's a pretty cool version of the song. thank you, sir. benny is a delight. sixty feet straight up is awesome. i climbed a big fire tower in our forest a few weeks ago and it freaked 67 year old me. how do they service those huge metal transmission line towers? Carefully. Actually, I think they have a squirrel cage ladder system that runs up the middle of the structure. Quote
