alocispepraluger102 Posted February 18, 2011 Author Report Posted February 18, 2011 (edited) unfortunately, the fabulous and illuminating 2 hours has ended. one of stubbs questions for bobby, still with a heavy performing schedule since the late 1940s, was how he maintained his still remarkable vocal skills. his explanation was that he never strains his voice and drinks plenty of water. his brother retired about 5 years ago after a stroke affecting one of his hands. strangely, bobby, likely well into his 70s, is enrolled in school taking courses in management. he picked up the mandolin because that was obligatory for bluegrass tenors. bobby appears to be a most humble, and happy, performer with seemingly none of the typical star affectations.
