I don't know if you are at all familiar with Bhi Bhiman, but I think y'all ought to hear him and the songs he writes. He was born in St. Louis, of Sri Lankan parents, and I believe he lives in San Francisco. The first one, "White Man's Burden" was inspired by Kipling. White Man's Burden Here are some more.
