I am gathering material and music for a tribute to the late George Duke on internet station WBLZ-BlazeRadio in Birmingham, on September 8th, at 2 pm central time, the show is entitled "The Jazz Is Out There", entering its' 13th season, & I will be hosting the program. What I am looking for are any and all fond stories you may have of George, either as a fan, friend or fellow musician. I will print them up here and read them on the air, it's a scheduled 4 hour broadcast, and I will endeavor to get them all in, share as much as you feel comfortble doing, please.
