Interesting interview. I was looking for info on why Vandermark quit the Chicago Reed Quartet and disbanded Audio One (both fantastic 'Chicago' groups). The answers aren't here, although towards the end he does talk about how he's been frustrated with Chicago artists taking the Chicago scene for granted, in terms of getting complacent. There's not necessarily any correlation but i found it interesting. Anyway, it's an all-round interesting interview and an enjoyable conversation to listen in on.

I'm not a huge Podcast guy but i've been getting more in to them lately. I'm looking forward to exploring Cymerman's other interviews.
