Hugh Masekela's 80th Birthday Gets A Google Doodle

If you go on Google, today's doodle is of Hugh Masekela in commemoration of his 80th birthday.

I don't think I posted on his RIP thread, but I saw him once live, in a duo with Larry Willis.  Despite the loud bar crowd and a consistently annoying, overzealous photographer, it was a special, memorable show.  I picked up Best of Friends after the gig, a compilation culled from the four-disc set Masekela and Willis did that seems to be impossible to find.  

I'll listen to that album soon to remember Masekela and will think of him when I see Willis next month.
