Will they "see" each other this way ( )? Is some kind of app required? Sorry, I'm cluless about this kind of stuff! Thanks for any assistance! indigo Posted June 15, 2005 Report Share Posted June 15, 2005 It depends on the size of the files, the volume of material in total, and the frequency with which you want to do this. For small stuff (smaller files, total of less than, say, 1 GB), a USB key (a.k.a. thumb drive, pen drive) would be the way to do it. For big stuff (like audio files) not transferred that often, you might try an external hard drive. For frequent transfers on an on-demand basis, your best bet is a permanent connection.
