Lazaro Vega Posted October 21, 2016 Report Share Posted October 21, 2016 Last May, pianist Marcus Roberts played Gershwin's "Concerto in F" with conductor Scott Speck and the West Michigan Symphony Orchestra, followed the next night by a solo concert at The Block in Muskegon. It was a stunning concert, including virtuoso renditions of "Cherokee" and "The St. Louis Blues," not to mention music of Jelly Roll Morton, "King Porter Stomp."
